I might get motivated!! It will be her...I've given up on de-cluttering. It will be here for my kids to sort out someday. For now I will just enjoy what I've got. So much of my stuff has memories attached; they were gifts or were inherited. There are moments when I wish I could start over with a clean slate, but then I know I'd see something that reminded me of what I got rid of and I'd miss it. So just stop sweating it and enjoy it. Corn on the cob...I want some now. We did have some in May. That's when it is fresh here. Cantaloupe, I try to buy every week if they look good enough. We haven't had many good fresh tomatoes this summer. I have missed that. I may have to grow some next year. I love your childhood memories of riding to school with your mother. That sounds really sweet. My memories of going to school are fuzzy. I think I rode with my mother most of the time, but there were four of us kids, and I honestly don't remember it much. We rode the bus home quite often until I was old enough to stay after school for cheerleading practice or I went home with a girlfriend until my mother got off work. Funny how memories begin to fade as we age...only the really significant events come back to our minds...good and bad. LOL. But I'm a lot older than you. I have a lot more stuff stuck in my head. LOL. Have a great rest of your week.Pamela M. The last garage sale I did threatened my sanity. But having your mom and daughter help should make it fun -- sort of.
