This week's questions come Kwizgiver, who was invited to play by a blogging buddy named Paula. Now you're invited to play along, too.
The Old School Blogging Meme
I am passionate about ...
1) My husband and family.
2) My job working with adults who have intellectual disabilities.
3) Reading
4) Diet Coke
5) Politics, though I choose not to mention it much online.
I'd like to learn ...
1) New ways to cook.
2) How to sew.
3) How to crochet (I've given up on knitting).
4) To speak Italian...not practical, but it's such a beautiful language.
5) How to create things with resin epoxy.
Things I say a lot ...
1) Really?
2) Excuse you! (mostly at work after a client burps or passes gas)
3) Could you please put that back where it belongs?
4) I love you.
5) Thank you.
Places I'd like to travel to ...
1) Italy
2) Greece
3) Egypt
4) Spain
5) Israel
"Thank you" is highly underrated. When I get off the bus, I say, "Thank you." Someone chastised me. "They're getting paid to take you there." So? TY is cool.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite quips is, "For real?!" That's soooo '90s. lol
ReplyDeleteIsrael would be a nice trip. I think I'd like to visit the Emerald Isles: England, Ireland, and Scotland. It'll not be this side of the veil, though, as my health can't endure a trip like that. Oh well.
Y'all stay safe and warm. ❤️🔥
Oh, fun!!! Oh, I have never thought about learning Italian. You are so right....it is a BEAUTIFUL language!!!!
ReplyDeleteyou made me laugh at your #3 under things you say alot.
ReplyDeleteI have been to Rome and Florence Italy but would love to go back and see Venice and Lake Como.
Israel and the entire Holy Land would be super cool to see.....maybe one day....
I enjoyed your answers. I like your pics on here.
I gave up on knitting, too. Might try cross stitch again, I was good at that, once upon a time.
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy. I love your answers. Yep, I'm passionate about politics too (because I love this country), and the older I get, the more conservative I am becoming. Like you, I try not to mention politics on-line much. I hope you have a good week. See you again soon!
ReplyDelete"Thank you" is such a short, easy phrase, but sadly not used enough. Thank you so much for sharing, I enjoyed reading your responses. And I absolutely love your blog background!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun. I should have given it a try today. I've given up on Sunday Stealing though. Have a blessed week ahead, Stacy! xo
ReplyDeleteI love that you are passionate about Diet Coke. Can you tell the difference in taste between bottle, can and fountain?
ReplyDeleteI think so. Canned usually has a crisper(?) taste seems fizzy-er to me and most of the time fountain is just gross. Hardly anyone gets the syrup/carbonation combo right.
DeleteI need new recipes. And I'm a fan of Thank you, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blog
ReplyDeletePlease read my post
ReplyDeleteThat you mention "I love you" and "thank you" as things you say a lot is a gift and treasure for those around you. :-)
