Today's Prompt: One thing you can hear, and one thing you can touch.
Hear: I loved listening to a heavy downpour this morning. I find rainstorms soothing and lovely as long as they don't come with strong winds or dangerous lightning.
Touch: A hot shower beating down on bunched up neck and shoulder muscles, relaxing away the tension of a difficult work day.
Interesting title and prompt for the day. Right now I can hear my washing machine going through its cycles. I am thankful for it because yesterday we didn't have any water for several hours and we couldn't wash ANYTHING! (bodies, dishes, clothes, etc.) Thankfully that was only temporary and today things are back to normal. Touch: My warm kitty brushing past my legs reminding me that I'm a "Cat Mom" now. Kind of a sweet thought I never had before.
