  1. Cats and houseplants, bad combination! I hate getting rid of books too, but love the space left when I do. So many people think they are inviting the Rockefellers! I am still not 100% with the gift registries. Don't we learn in kindergarten "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit."? :)

    1. I am learning that fact about cats and houseplants. I've tried EVERYTHING and he still sits in them. Sigh. The bad part about getting rid of books and having space...is that I will just go buy more books! The gift registries have gotten ridiculous. What happened to asking for sheets, towels, small appliances, etc. The couple whose wedding we are going to tomorrow asked for things like a Roomba, towels that cost $70 for one towel, $300 sheets, etc. Sheesh.

  3. Quite frankly, I think these wedding gift registries are rude. I'll buy what I think they'll like and I can easily afford. I'm glad these things weren't popular when Steve & I married in 1979. To me, it's the taught that counts.
    I enjoyed your list.
    Blessings. xx

  4. It is really hard for me to let go of books too. Yes I agree on the gift registries too! But not many big weddings going on. Some baby registries are big too! I still can't update my blog list. Maybe I need to make a new one.
