They tried, they really, really tried to do the biopsy at my appointment yesterday, but I had a cone biopsy about 20 years ago and apparently, those leave a lot of scar tissue behind.
Long story short...they were unable to do the biopsy at the office so now I have to meet with the doctor next week. From there we will schedule to have the biopsy done under general anesthesia. I will get next year's PTO days in January. I hope to hold it off just until then.
As for the snake, in case you missed it on Facebook, this is one of the things I did at work today. No, I am not happy, but I was determined to do it to show the consumers that we don't have to be consumed by our fears.

I saw this on FB and I thought how brave you are! Sorry your procedure did not go as planned. Hopefully you will get a better appointment in the new year.
ReplyDeleteThe procedure sounds frustrating. I hope everything goes smoothly when you are able to have it done. Bravo to you for the snake. I don't know if I could have done it!
ReplyDeleteI did see it on FB and applauded for you!! I am so sorry about the failed biopsy, Stacy. Sure hope it can be scheduled for the first week of January for you. Prayers will continue. Please keep us posted!! xo
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy. I love the picture of you with the snake! My oldest son (who doesn't speak to me now) used to have snakes in cages in his room, and I would feed them for him when he was out on hiking/camping trips. I didn't enjoy it, but I got to the point that I could tolerate the snakes, and pick them up when I needed to. I hope you can get the PTO and get the biopsy taken care of. Have a good weekend. See you again soon!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could have done that. You are brave!
