I am
Reading... still working on Trust No One.
Watching... Rizzoli & Isles and a lot of goofy YouTube videos courtesy of my grandson.
Listening... to the furnace run. The temperature is going into the 70s today, but it's chilly this morning.
Eating... sporadically, due to the crazy schedule I'm keeping.
Thinking... about the things I need to accomplish today.
Feeling... a little tired. My hip woke me up early with its achiness. I just couldn't get comfortable.
Celebrating... the facility my daughter is in FINALLY came through yesterday with a letter of proof that she is there. It was enough to get a family medical leave of absence from my employer. They had been dragging their feet and stonewalling. This came just in time. My PTO hours run out Wednesday and the only way I could continue to be off to help with the kids was an FMLA.
Enjoying... these quiet, early morning hours before I have to go help with home schooling.
Weather... cloudy and 74* today.
Giggling...

Praying for you and your family situation. I'm glad you were able to get the family medical leave from your employer. I know this isn't an easy time for you, but thankfully they will have to hold your job for you, right? Praying all goes well and that this time away will truly help your daughter. I know your grandkids are loving being with you, and I know that helps their stability, and I'm sure it helps your daughter to know they are safe with you. I love the funny quotes/memes you posted. It took me a minute to figure out the one about the toilet paper, and then when I did, eeeewwww. LOL. Oh, and that "Morning Glory"...that would be me. LOL. Loved all of them. It's good to keep a sense of humor when you are going through difficult stuff!.
ReplyDeleteSo glad the letter came in time for you to continue on FMLA. I know you are a huge blessing to your daughter and her family. Prayers continue. xo
