Sunday Stealing: From the Vault

Thanks to Kwizgiver for stepping in to host Sunday Stealing until Bev is back!

  1. What period of history is your favorite to read about?  The old west and the expansion of the U.S. territory.
  2. What is your favorite genre of fiction?  Mysteries and chick lit.
  3. Do you choose a book by its cover?  The cover might catch my attention, but I will still read the description on the dust jacket or back cover to decide if the book is one I am interested in.
  4. Where do you do most of your reading?  Here at home. Usually on my end of the reclining sofa with my pup and my kitty curled up with me.
  5. Without looking, guess how many books are in your TBR pile. Now, look. Were you right?  I'm guessing close to 100 if you count what's waiting on my Kindle, too. It's late Saturday evening and I'm too lazy to go look, but if I'm wrong it would only be to underestimate how many.
  6. How many movies are on your TBW list?  I don't think there are any. I'm not up on new movies coming out and the only ads I've seen have been for horror movies and I will not be seeing any of those!
  7. What's your favorite genre of movie?  Romantic comedies.
  8. Do you still go to see movies in the theater?  There is a huge theater complex about 45 minutes (or more, depending on the traffic) from us that only charges $5 for first run movies and has really cheap prices for popcorn, too. We'd been going there a few times a year, but now that gas prices are going back up, we'll see if it's worth the drive.
  9. You have $10,000 and no strings or obligations for one full day. Where do you go and what do you do?  I would go buy the new sofas and dining table I'm wanting.
  10. How many songs are on your favorite playlist?  I don't have a playlist. I keep saying I'm going to make one, but some how I never do.
  11. What method to you use to listen to music (Spotify, iTunes, Pandora...)?  I have used Pandora in the past, but mostly I just listen to the radio or tell Alexa what I want to hear (I do have Amazon Music Unlimited).
  12. There is no #12. For some reason Blogger has added it and I can't get rid of it. I am off to visit my birth father tomorrow. I will visit everyone when I get home.

  6. I built a playlist using Alexa - when she plays a song I like, I tell her to add it to my favorites playlist. And she does and that's that.
