Probably homemade, but from a good Mexican restaurant will do, with saucy (I like salsa on mine), slightly spicy meat, a blend of cheeses, lettuce and tomatoes. No sour cream, thank you.
2) In 1989, a British policeman investigated a flying saucer that had landed in a field in Surrey. When a figure in a space suit emerged, the policeman ran away. 3) This week's song is about a man who collected girls' phone numbers in a little book. When he and she broke up, he'd tear out her page. Do you keep an pen-and-paper address book? Or do you use your cellphone to hold street addresses as well as phone numbers? I do still have a pen and paper address book. Mostly, I only use it for Christmas cards.
4) This was the biggest hit blues guitarist Elvin Bishop ever had, but that's not him singing it. While he's proud of his composing and guitar prowess, Bishop felt his voice was too gravelly for this song. Do you like your singing voice? Hahahahahaha! That would be a huge NO!
5) A brainy kid, Elvin Bishop won a full scholarship to the University of Chicago, where he majored in physics. Obviously, though, as a blues guitarist he doesn't lean on that physics degree very often. What's something you learned in school that you seldom used again? Algebra

7) In 1976, the Summer Olympics were held in Montreal. When did you most recently visit our neighbor to the north? It's got to be 8-10 years ago. I remember the weekend and all the circumstances, but without going and looking it up, I can't remember what year it was.

We went to a Mexican restaurant and the food was delicious, the staff fabulous and fun, and it was great getting to talk and laugh with my friend. The whole thing gets a 10!

9) Random question: Do you ever talk to your TV? I don't think so.
My favorite taco is the one I make. I use my mom's recipe. I use hamburger meat and potatoes for the filling. I fill a soft corn tortilla with the meat mixture and then fry it in hot oil until crisp, then drain on paper towels. Then I fill with lettuce, tomato and cheese. I use to add olives too. Salsa is a must. My husband likes to mix ketchup and salsa. I only like sour cream with my enchiladas and tamales.

ReplyDelete#8 I have been trying to get our luncheon group together again after the great "plague" it looks like April 27 it is. We are at an age that it is not our jobs keeping us from meeting but our doctor's appointments.
